Quake 4 Servers

I am saddened to announce that beginning April 15, 2007, Bandwidthgods will not be supporting Quake 4 game servers any longer. After months of waiting and pleading, it looks like the 1.4.1 patch has not addressed the known issues on the server side nor on the client side. We have devoted entirely too much time to troubleshooting server issues, compatibility problems and server crashes that running the servers is no longer cost effective. If any customer would like to keep their Quake 4 server, they can deal directly with our provider Gamerservers.Net.

Merger Status - Downtime

With the merger with JAM2HI almost complete it is time to make some hardware changes. Those of you with JAM2HI services coming from svc1.jam2hi.com ( Enterprise Red Hat 4 ) which will include shoutcast servers, eggdrop bots, and game servers will notice some downtime starting on Sat. Feb 10th, 2007. We hope to limit the downtime to 1 day but there is a possibility it could take longer. We apologize for this and hope to have the server and all of its services back up soon. I am currently in the process of backing everyones data up via private vlan so there won't be any data loss. When the server comes back online, the OS will be the same but we are adding some additional software to compliment the services we offer and make things better for all customers. Once again, we appreciate your patience. Bandwidthgods Staff
